Conversion Course for Unemployed Engineers/ Job Bridge Participants

29^th – 31^st August, 6^th – 7^th September & 17^th – 21^st September 2012 (10 days) – Dates may change.

This conversion course for unemployed engineers/Technical personnel (from traditional engineering disciplines such as civil, mechanical, electrical etc.) will help them gain the necessary skills to start work in the plastics industry. This course will incorporate plastics materials, polymer processing, plastic part & mould design plus injection moulding modules over 10 days. The individual components that make up this programme are all FETAC certified. On successful completion of assessments, candidates will achieve three component certificates. Eligibility criteria apply and candidates should be 6 months unemployed. The programme also includes a suitable post course work placement of 8 weeks duration. Job Bridge interns are also eligible and their internship counts as their placement.
