All our courses are FREE for Jobseekers participants. However, they are subject to availability and meeting the criteria.

Free  Injection Moulding and Manufacturing Skills

Dates: 14th – 18th August & 28th August – 01st September 2017 (10 days)

This 10-day programme is 100% funded i.e. there is no cost for jobseekers to attend. It will provide participants with injection moulding technical skills and with the general skills needed to work in a plastics manufacturing environment. It will cover Injection Moulding Module 1 and Module 2

The programme also includes a suitable post course work placement of 4 weeks

plus one of the following

be under the age of 35  or
be unemployed for more than 12 months or
have a qualification of NFQ Level 5 ( i.e. Leaving Cert equivalent) or less or
been formerly employed in the construction/ manufacturing/ retail sectors or
wish to enter the ICT sector having been formerly employed in a different sector and who require conversion programmes

People on JobBridge/Tús who have already commenced on such internships/employment schemes are not eligible for this specific programme.  They are however eligible to attend other programmes organised by this network, subject to approval from their host company and availability.

Please note that it is the responsibility of every social welfare recipient to ensure that their attendance at this course does not impinge on their obligations in respect of signing on, attendance at interview, etc – where such conflicts arise the person should immediately bring them to the attention of their social welfare office
