Booking Conditions

Booking Policy: Please make all cheques payable to First Polymer Training. No reservation can be confirmed until a cheque or PO for the full cost of the course is received.

N.B We will request mobile telephone number contacts for attendees where possible, as a precaution, so that we can easily make contact, if there are any last minute issues. We do not use this information for any other purpose, or disclose to any third party.

Cancellation Policy:

If for any reason you cannot attend a course you have booked, you will still be invoiced in the normal way, but you will receive a 100% credit towards a place on the next course. There is no time limit on this, so your money is never lost. Please be sure to let us know as soon as possible if you cannot attend a course you have confirmed. This policy applies to any cancellations made less than 10 working days before the course starts.

A delegate who wishes to send another person in their place should give notice of the new delegate’s name at least 24 hours in advance of the course starting. FPT reserves the right to cancel any courses in the event of insufficient bookings.

The assessment at the end of a FETAC Level 5 certified programme, if successfully completed, will lead to one credit towards a major(compound) award, of which 8 credits are needed in total. Please see How to achieve a FETAC major award with FPT. Some of our programmes have assignments as part of the assessment which should be completed by the learner after the programme has finished. Full instructions, timelines and ongoing guidance will be given by the course tutor. Most assessments are completed during the programme and results will be made available to learners as soon as they have gone through our Quality Assurance procedures and final submission to FETAC.
